    The ask

    Every time the company wins a good order, Arjun posts a thank-you note in the team chat. Tonight he types one paragraph into E1pi: get my messages from the team chat for the last three years, find those notes, and draft one for Priya’s new order. He attaches a photo of the customer’s purchase order and goes back to his evening.

    It reads three years of chat — in place

    E1pi reads the group chat through the company’s own Microsoft 365: 2,323 messages. It keeps the 261 Arjun wrote and finds the 33 where he congratulated the team on an order. No export, no spreadsheet, no copy-paste. Nothing leaves the office.

    It learns how he writes

    The 33 notes share one shape: “Team,” — one line on who and what for — the order details as a list — how the win was fought — thanks to people by name — and a few facts about the customer so everyone feels the size of it. E1pi writes to that shape, in his words, not its own.

    It reads the PO photo and drafts

    From the photo it lifts the PO number, the date, 320 units, the freight line and the total. The first draft appears in the app — with visible blanks where it does not know: the battery model, and who else to thank. It does not guess.

    Arjun: “Ask Priya yourself”

    His second message: message Priya on Teams, introduce yourself and say I asked for this; ask whom to thank, what was hard about closing it, anything to add; once she says OK, post it in the group. Behind the scenes E1pi finds Priya has never used the bot, installs it in her Teams under Arjun’s permission, briefs it on the task and the draft, and sends the introduction.

    “Thank Dev Sharma too. Approvals came from the group’s head office, the customer works in French, and it is our second order from them.” The bot rewrites the note with her words, shows the whole thing and asks: is this OK to post? She reads it and says OK.

Is E1pi open source?

No — but not a black box. The code sits on your own disk. Your IT can read every line; your admin can see every AI call.

Which computer do I need?

Any recent Mac or Windows PC in your office, ideally on the same network as your accounts software. Your team reaches it from browser, iPhone or Mac.

Do I have to change my accounting software?

No. Tally Prime, SAP and QuickBooks today; Zoho and Xero within a month. Your books stay where they are.

Will it post entries or make payments on its own?
